People with a passion for Jesus Christ are meeting at the
Jubilee Fields Community Centre every Sunday. Jesus said to his
disciples in Matthew 9:37 "The harvest is so great, but the workers
are so few." We are commanded to go into all the world and preach
the Good News to everyone, everywhere.
Oaks of Righteousness
Isaiah 61:3
They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the
LORD for the display of his splendour. (NIV)
Testimonies
I was born into a family of Jehovah's Witnesses. I was an active
member in this organization for 10 years. My grandfather was an
elder in the organization for 40 years when he started reading the
bible, and became a reborn Christian.
When it happened I didn't want to talk to my grandparents
especially about Jesus. It was a disaster to me and my world turned
upside down because my grandfather was a spiritual leader of the
family and we felt he left us.
With time (and my grandparents prayers), as the Holy Spirit worked
in me. I prayed to God to show me the way. In October 2000, I
realised that I was being deceived. I left the Jehovah Witnesses. I
started reading a book by Billy Graham 'You Must be Born Again',
but my life was filled with alcohol, nightclubs and bad company. By
the end of this book I decided to give my life to Jesus. I knelt
down and confessed my sins before Him.
Since then on He's been leading me faithfully giving me peace and
love and joy in my life. He helps me build a living and
satisfactory relationship with Him. He gave me a family of
believers in this church, where we can love and serve our Lord
Jesus and one another.
