We are a team passionate about our Lord Jesus Christ and love to express ourselves to Him in praise and worship and new songs. Our aim is to lead people into the awesome and wonderful presence of our Heavenly Father where one touch of the King can change everything.

We believe in effective, active, heartfelt prayer lead by the Holy Spirit.

Prayer for us is a lifestyle and if you have a passion for prayer and would like to join us praying for our community then please come and join us at our prayer meetings during the week.

We believe that "church" is not a building, but it's the people that gather together to share their love of God. It is about relationships that we build together as we serve God, in everything that we do.

So we come together in small groups as often as we can, getting to know one another and Jesus more. Jesus said "Where two or three are gathered in My name, I am there among them." (Matthew 18:20 NRSV)

We also gather in "home groups" every Wednesday evening at 19h30 to study the Bible, encourage each other in our faith, worship the Lord and to build up our relationships with one another and God.

These are fairly small groups, so here is plenty of time to chat and share and drink tea.

Every Monday evening from 7:30pm there are men coming together to learn from mighty men in the Bible.

The generation with a voice, who wants to impact those around us. We want to influence our generation in our communities. Learning from the Bible how to deal with everyday stuff that we are faced with as men.

Diversion Youth is a event run by Oaks Church for the youth of the local community. We believe that the youth of today is our world of tomorrow and that we need to invest in them to see a brighter future.

We want to see young people taking up their God given role to impact their society by living for a cause greater than themselves through spreading The News.

As a Church we see to a safe environment for young people and operate a Child Protection Policy. We work with the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service which is an independent Christian based charity working with churches.

Leaders Impact

We as church believe in equipping leaders to equip others, using Jesus Christ as our prime example of what true leadership is.Where there is no vision, people perish (Proverbs 29:18) Eph 4:11-16 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in thecunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head; Christ; from whom thewhole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working bywhich every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.

Children are precious and therefore we believe investing in children are investing in the future of our society.

Proverbs 22:6 Teach your children to choose the right path, and when they are older, they will remain upon it.
