Another Church?

Yes, but different!

People with a passion for Jesus Christ are meeting at the Jubilee Fields Community Centre every Sunday. Jesus said to his disciples in Matthew 9:37 "The harvest is so great, but the workers are so few." We are commanded to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone, everywhere.

Oaks of Righteousness

Isaiah 61:3

They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendour. (NIV)

Testimonies

We are giving glory to God for His faithfulness.

Someone in our church came to our house yesterday with 5 bags full of food, telling us that God laid it on her heart to bless us. Over the years God has time and again blessed us in times we didn't expect it and shown us that He is our provider.

I pray that this testimony will encourage you, that our God is looking after His children.

Matthew 6:25-34  "So I tell you, don't worry about everyday life-whether you have enough food, drink,

and clothes. Doesn't life consist of more than food and clothing?    Look at the birds. They don't need

to plant or harvest or put food in barns because your heavenly Father feeds them. And you are far

more valuable to him than they are. Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? Of course

not. "And why worry about your clothes? Look at the lilies and how they grow. They don't work or

make their clothing,   yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are.

And if God cares so wonderfully for flowers that are here today and gone tomorrow, won't he more

surely care for you? You have so little faith! "So don't worry about having enough food or drink or

clothing. Why be like the pagans who are so deeply concerned about these things? Your heavenly

Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for

him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern. "So don't worry about tomorrow, for

tomorrow will bring its own worries. Today's trouble is enough for today. (NLT)

FIRST LOVE CHURCH

slabbertsOaks Church has been planted out of First Love Church in South Africa, where Andre and Diane Prinsloo originated from. We are thankful for an active relationship with Jan and Wendy Slabbert. We receive them as apostolic and prophetic gifts from First Love to our church. Although oceans apart, we are like-minded in the faith and in the vision the Lord has given us. We have a fruitful, and mutually accountable relationship which allows us to speak into one another's lives as friends, but also as church leaders.
Over the past few years, they have sent several teams across to England for support and ministry in our church. First Love Church Web Site

GROUND LEVEL NETWORK

We have been relating to Ground Level Network since 2009 that exists to support and care for local churches and ministries. They are also seeking to have a growing influence for good in the nation, affecting society in any way that they can, to be prophetic, to model Word and Spirit, relationship and kingdom. Trevor & Sarah Winbow

HOPE (Eden Valley) was founded by Trevor and Sarah Winbow in 1998, initially to see Christian missionary-servant-discipleship communities planted throughout the Eden Valley in Cumbria. It quickly became apparent that in order to see God's kingdom advance in this way significant time needed to first be invested in two areas: the journey into personal consecration and holiness and strategic prayer. Thus Houses of Prayer for Eden (HOPE) began. Ten years on and with the spiritual climate in the Valley significantly changed, God is enabling the development of the original vision. Sarah Winbow has written a teaching resource to encourage others desiring to work through this process in their own area - Restoring Eden.

From 2005 a call went forth across the rural north of England for those sharing a similar heart and vision to that of HOPE to gather together periodically. The purpose in this being to worship, seek God's heart for the region, intercede, encourage, network, resource, edify and be accountable to one another. It was in this context that we developed our mutually beneficial relationship with the leaders of Oaks of Righteousness Church, Shildon.
